I’m Barney, director of Megadog and I’ve been taking businesses to market since 1998. I’m proud of the path I’ve taken and am lucky to have helped grow numerous start ups and high growth businesses. These include…

ChannelFlip, a trailblazing multi channel network sold to Shine in 2011; Unruly, the Tech City poster child and video technology business sold to News in 2015: Finally, my second family, the creative social agency That Lot sold to Weber Shandwick in 2018.

Technically, I also worked for a start up in the Dotcom boom but honestly, it was a good lesson in how NOT to do things. I did get to work in the Millennium Dome though. Silver linings, eh?

Via my role as a Venture Partner at one of London’s most active early stage VC’s, Ascension Ventures I’m immersed in start up culture in all of it’s joy and madness. In 2020, during lockdown I was selected for Antler’s LON3 VC incubator. It was a cross between The Apprentice and Love Island but everyone had an MBA.
